The Anglezarke Platter Set has been handmade using an earthy, stoneware clay, slab-built and hand manipulated to create the form. Textured using foraged gum nuts and hand-painted in a dark, blue tone, light speckles of the clay can been seen through the glaze. This platter set is versatile in its use: use as an entertaining platter or separately as a plate and small bowl. This piece is inspired by the Anglezarke Reservoir in Lancashire, England. The deep, blue tone and light speckles are reminiscent of the summer sun shining across this stretch of water.
Each piece is individual, bearing the same colours and similarities, with subtle differences in glaze and size.
All items are food safe and dishwasher safe. Please remember that hand-washing is always kinder to your hand-crafted item.
